About Study Course

Objective

To ensure acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the principles of treatment of hematological diseases in accordance with the requirements of the haematology specialty in order to prepare the doctor for certification in the haematology specialty.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.- Knows about cytostatic drugs, their groups, principles of action; principles of treatment; - Knows about early and late complications of chemotherapy drugs; - Knows about the principles of radiotherapy in cases of haematological pathologies; - Knows about therapeutic monoclonal antibodies, their application in haematology; - Knows about haematological malignancies during pregnancy; - Knows about prescribing immunosuppressive drugs and growth factors in cases of haematological tumours.

Skills

1.- Will be able to prescribe cytostatic drugs, radiotherapy and monoclonal antibodies to haematological patients.
