About Study Course

Objective

To enable students to learn in depth the teaching of track and field exercises in primary school, the teaching methodology in basic and secondary school included in the state basic education standard and the general secondary education standard in the subject “Sport”. School 2030.

Preliminary Knowledge

Study course – Foundations and Didactics of Track and Field, Pre-School and School Sport Didactics, Basics of Training Theory (Children and Adolescents), Sports Physiology, Theory of Sport.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.1. To choose and teach track and field exercises in grades 1-12, movement, walking, moving objects, overcoming obstacles. 2. Applying basic principles of didactics, to teach track and field exercises and apply them to develop physical characteristics according to sensitive periods in grades 1-12.

Skills

1.3. To choose and teach track and field exercises in grades 1-12, movement, walking, moving objects, overcoming obstacles. 4. Able to vary the use of track and field exercises according to the environmental situation and specific situation.

In independent learning, the student studies special literature, prepares homework in development of physical properties, preparation of a sports lesson plan and trains to perform track and field exercises, improving his/her movement skills, as well as teaches the performance of exercises in practice to other students, is able to see inaccuracies in movement performance and correct them. Watches track and field competitions on TV and on site, gets acquainted with the organisation, judging of competitions. In the test work, corrects a competition protocol on the basis of independently acquired knowledge.

For mastering the study course, the student receives a differentiated assessment. The final assessment is entered in the record book in a 10-point grading system in accordance with the LASE requirements. To get a positive assessment for the study course, the total assessment should sum up to at least 4 (minimum level). If the student’s sum of points is less than four, the test should be retaken. The student receives assessment by summing up the number of points, assessing knowledge, skills and competences in the performance of individual tasks (independent works, productive activity during practical classes, attitude, student’s individual development dynamics). For a student to get a successful assessment, the following will be assessed: Knowledge (50%) Skills (20%) Development dynamics (20%) Attitude (10%)
