About Study Course
Objective
To provide residents with knowledge of periodontal disease prevention, etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
To acquire diagnostics and conservative treatment methods of periodontal disease during etiotropic and maintenance phase of treatment.

Knowledge
1.Knowledge in Etiology and pathogenesis of periodontal disease; Knowledge in Examination and diagnosis of periodontal disease; Knowledge in Correlation between periodontal and systemical diseases; Knowledge in the Treatment planning of periodontal disease; Knowledge in Periodontal treatment assessment results.
Skills
1.Skills in The patient's motivation and individual oral hygiene instructions; Skills in Soft plaque removal, supragingival and subgingival scaling, root planning; Skills in Gingival pockets curettage; Skills in Iatrogenic factors prevention; Skills in Dental splinting; Skills in Treatment of acute conditions.

1.Use the acquired knowledge in clinical practice; Can make an exact diagnosis and compile a treatment plan; Can interpret and analyze the results.
