About Study Course

Objective

To gain knowledge of psychotherapeutic approaches and therapeutic process, to promote the development of basic skills in therapeutic communication.

Preliminary Knowledge

Personality Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Communication Psychology, Psychosocial Needs.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.As a result of mastering the study course, students are able to describe psychotherapeutic approaches, psychotherapy organisation process, describe therapeutic relationships and conditions for creating a therapeutic environment

Skills

1.Students improve the skills to evaluate the psychosocial needs of a social case client to improve mental health, to improve the skills to integrate the principles of Psychosocial counselling and support in social work

Competences

1.To improve the competence of carrying out social work on a case using psychosocial counselling and fundamental principles of therapeutic relationship
