About Study Course

Objective

To acquire dentistry vocabulary in Latvian and Latvian language at a conversational level in order to be able to use language in clinical and to communicate with patients. Simulated situations will be included in the learning process so students are ready to talk to a patient at the clinic.

Preliminary Knowledge

Acquired basic course and elective course “Medical terminology in Latvian”.

Knowledge

1.Students will know denstistry vocabulary in the Latvian language.

Skills

1.Students will be able to select and use appropriate dentistry vocabulary in communication with a patient.

2.Will be able to complete the patient case history in Latvian.

Competences

1.Students will be able to use practically dentistry vocabulary and communicate with patients.
