Knowledge
1.Students will gain an understanding of cognitive behavioural therapy, its application in case of emotional eating and eating behaviour disorders; an understanding of mindful eating and the Minnesota Model of 12-step treatment.
Skills
1.Students will be able to apply mindful eating in work with patients, will know practical tasks from CBT that help to change habits more successfully and will be able to apply nutrition therapy in the long term.
Competences
1.Understand CBT, mindful eating and other practical therapies that are applied to eating disorders and habit change.

|
Apply some of the practical tasks learnt in the course on a volunteer in three consultations; evaluate effectiveness describe it.
Group work: scientific review of a therapeutic practice (mindful eating, CBT, Minnesota model). Preparation of presentations on specific topics.
Examination in a test format.
In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.

|
Active participation in classes. Preparation of presentation materials, literature review, overview of recent research. Structure of independent work, application, outline of results. The test is passed if 50% of the questions are answered.
