About Study Course

Objective

To acquire knowledge about diagnostics and differential diagnostics in endodontics. To acquire knowledge about indications and contraindications for endodontic treatment. To acquire knowledge about the relationship between apical and marginal periodontal pathologies.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Knowledge of pulp and periapical tissue disease prevention, etiology, pathology, clinical manifestations, and evaluation of treatment results. Knowledge of prognosis in endodontically treated teeth.

Skills

1.Is able to apply specific diagnostic tests for pulp and periapical tissue disease diagnostics.

Competences

1.Uses the acquired knowledge. Is able to develop an accurate diagnosis and a treatment plan. Is able to interpret and analyze the results.
