1.Student will recognize main bacterial and viral causative agents and their sources and transmission.

1.Will be able to discuss the basic principles of their pathogenesis and diagnostic directions.

1.Understand the importance of sterilization, disinfection and non-specific and specific prevention measures in limiting the spread of these infectious agents in the environment as well as in the human population and in healthcare settings.
