About Study Course

Objective

To provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills in maxillofacial surgery

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Urgent conditions and Maxillofacial Surgery: - Diagnostics, treatment of facial injuries in - Purulent infection of the mouth, face and jaw area. - Etiopathogenesis, statistics, diagnostics and principles of treatment of facial skin, lips, mouth cancer and benign tumors. - Salivary gland and facial bone tumors. - Reconstructive surgery.

Skills

1.Take the jaw splints imposition, wound care, local incision, excision of skin lesions of the face and jaw region.

Competences

1.To be able to interpret the results of investigations, to diagnose pathology and to give first aid.
