About Study Course

Objective

Assure theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquisiiton in the field of adult oncology.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Use the knowledge of treatment of oncological diseases in adult oncology. List frequent diseases, compare treatment methods and schedules, analyse the results of screenings in the field of adult oncology, use principles of therapy.

Skills

1.Use and understand communication with colleagues, patients, especially in critical and sychically traumatic situations.

Competences

1.Understand similarities and differences with paediatric oncology. Analyze outcomes, objectives of the therapy.

After each module (rotation cycle) medical resident’s theoretical and practical knowledge is assessed in a 10-point grade system by the medical resident's supervisor of the rotation cycle by making a respective record in the medical resident’s book.
