Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.After completing the study course, one is able to name toxic substances, poisoning mechanisms, classify the degree of severity of poisoning, describe the basic principles of treatment, explain possible complications and prognosis.
Skills
1.As a result of completing the study course, the student knows how to recognise poisoning with toxic substances, evaluate the risk and severity of acute poisoning, choose the most appropriate treatment methods, explain detoxification methods and predict possible complications.
Competences
1.As a result of completing the study course, the student knows how to identify poisoning, analyse the degree of risk and severity of poisoning and plan an appropriate treatment method.
