Knowledge
1.Sufficient theoretical knowledge has been acquired for early and targeted examinations to clarify the cause of infection, to clarify the spread and justify conservative or surgical treatment. The ability to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and make a decision about changing therapy or repeating operative treatment.
Skills
1.• Able to puncture a paravertebral or prevertebral abscess for diagnostic or drainage purposes. • Able to create a surgical approach to repair and drainage of a paravertebral abscess.
Competences
1.Prescribe examinations, operative and medical treatment, adjust it depending on the course of the illness.

Septic conditions. Staphylococcal and streptococcal spondylodiscitis, spondyloarthritis. Blood smears, found in the laboratory. Interpretation of radiological examinations. Pathogenesis of a chronic avascular focus of infection. Indications for surgery. Evaluation of treatment effect, laboratory and radiological findings. Changing drug therapy. Repeated operative rehabilitation. Long-term outpatient antibacterial therapy.
