Objective

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.As a result of the study course, students will know the importance of evidence-based practice and the evidence-based practice components as well us process, evidence databases and search strategies.
Skills
1.As a result of the study course students will be able to assess the importance of scientific method in nursing practice, explain the relationship between theory, research and evidence-based practice, search for evidence in online databases, critically analyse research articles based on the level of evidence, synthesize evidence to make clinical decision .
Competences
1.To argue and substantiate with scientific evidence the nursing practice. Competence of evidence-based clinical decision-making, evaluating the results of research in accordance with the patient's and family's wishes. Competence in identifying problems of nursing practice by demonstrating analytical skills in evaluating research results. Will be able to independently formulate a research question in the field of health care; to obtain, select and analyse information of research in accordance with the principles of scientific methodology; to evaluate the use of evidence-based practice in practice in different settings in health care.
