About Study Course

Objective

To improve and extend theoretical knowledge and practical skills, to integrate patient care and related clinical procedures in accordance with the standard of the nursing profession, principles of professional ethics, clinical and sectoral procedures and guidelines, patients' rights, and the knowledge acquired in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of study in various fields – in the specialty of surgical care nurse, in the specialty of outpatient care nurse, in the specialty of internal care nurse, in the specialty of child care nurse.

Preliminary Knowledge

Clinical pharmacology and medical care, basics of clinical care, clinical care, care process and theories of nursing, interpersonal communication in health care, placement I, II, III, IV, V, Pedagogy in health care, psychiatry and narcology, general care, Family medicine, Neurology and patient care, Mental health and patient care.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.To acquire basic knowledge of the surgical care nurse, outpatient care nurse, internal care nurse and child care nurse.

Skills

1.Theoretical and practical skills required for planning and performing care both in the clinic and in other healthcare institutions have been improved, taking into consideration the peculiarities of transcultural care. To develop an independent care plan for a specific patient and to provide care in accordance with the set priorities – in the field of surgery, internal medicine and paediatrics. Skills in educating the public and patients on health care issues. Skills in educating the public and patients on health care issues.

Competences

1.Ability to apply and evaluate appropriate clinical procedures and other care activities – primary, secondary and tertiary care – for patients in the fields of surgery, internal medicine and paediatrics.
