About Study Course

Objective

To provide knowledge about surgical treatment indications of periodontal diseases, the role of surgical treatment during follow-up.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.In-depth knowledge of indications and contraindications for periodontal surgical treatment. In-depth knowledge of surgical methods for periodontal regeneration. In-depth knowledge of the connection of periodontal surgery with the other phases of treatment.

Skills

1.Advanced skills in surgical methods for periodontal pocket reduction. Advanced skills in the surgical treatment of gingival hyperplasia. Advanced skills in surgical resective and regenerative treatment methods. Advanced skills in gum plastic surgery methods.

Competences

1.Uses acquired knowledge in clinical practice. Can put an accurate diagnosis and make a treatment plan. Can interpret and analyze the results.
