Knowledge
1.Will know: 1. At comprehension level: Latvian legal system, basic concepts of the theory of law, laws and regulations regulating education and the professional activities of a teacher. 2. Level of use: legislation in the field of sport pedagogy 3. International conventions and normative regulation of the Latvian sport education system. Laws and regulations regulating sport education and the professional activities of a coach.
Skills
1.4. To be versed in the legal system of Latvia and the system of legal norms. 5. To know the basic concepts of the theory of law to be used in the sport pedagogy work. 6. To comply with the provisions of the legislation, including in the field of sport pedagogy. 7. To use the acquired knowledge in learning other study courses related to the field of law.
Competences
1.8. Knowledge of the legal system of Latvia, ability to comply with the requirements of the laws and regulations regulating the sport pedagogy activity and to supervise the implementation thereof. 9. Ability to find one’s way in the scope of the rights, duties and responsibilities of the parties involved in a sport pedagogy problem and to study further by improving personal competences.

|
When providing the final assessment, knowledge, skills, competencies, attitudes are assessed.
For a student to obtain a successful assessment, the differentiated test requirements are:
- Attitude towards education, development dynamics, active participation in seminars (20%);
- Practical work performed by the student (30%);
- Written tests of study course (tests, presentation of a court judgement) (50%).
The final assessment is provided on a 10-point scale. At least 4 should be received to get credit points for the study course.
The student receives assessment by summing up the number of points, assessing knowledge, skills and competences in the performance of individual tasks (independent learning, productive activity during seminars, written tests), attitude and individual development dynamics of the student.
The total assessment is summative.
