About Study Course
Objective
To acquire deep knowledge of human body movement analysis, including the analysis of sports movements, by determining the movement phases, muscles and joints that participate in execution of movements.
Preliminary Knowledge
The knowledge acquired at LASE in the 1st year of studies in the anatomy study course and foundations of sports biomechanics in the 2nd year of studies.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Will know about the dynamic anatomy of basic human movements (movement phases, muscles and joints participating in the execution of movements).
Skills
1.Will be able to perform exercises and name the joints and muscles that are involved.
Competences
1.Will be able to analyse muscle function in different movements – which joints, which muscles work and in what order in different sports movements.

To prepare for the test work on the topic: dynamic anatomy of basic human movements. To find literary and internet sources in the library about muscle activity in various athletic disciplines. To write a report on the analysis of movements, including basic movements in the personal athletic discipline. To prepare for the oral examination in dynamic anatomy.

|
The knowledge and competences of students are assessed in one written test work (dynamic anatomy of basic human movements).
Skills and competences are assessed after preparation of a presentation on movement analysis, including basic movements, in the personal athletic discipline and an test at the end of the study course.
When the study course is over, a differentiated assessment on a 10-point scale is provided based on the sum of points obtained without an additional examination.
The course uses an summative assessment of knowledge, skills and competencies in test work, making a presentation on the analysis of movements of the personal athletic discipline and an oral test, receiving a passing grade of 4 to 10 in each of them. Failing grades (below 4) must be improved.
The final assessment on a 10-point scale is provided based on the obtained sum of points.
Assessment of learning outcomes:
1. Test work on the topic: dynamic anatomy of basic human movements.
2. PowerPoint presentation on the analysis of movement in the personal athletic discipline.
3. Oral final test.
