About Study Course

Objective

To provide students with the necessary knowledge, skills and competences regarding the methodology of exercise during sports and health hours; structure the use of exercise elements in certain parts of the sports and health hour; learn the didactic of gymnastic elements (teach as teach) by following the age stages of school students. To be able to assess the student’s performance and growth according to clearly defined evaluation criteria and according to the individual learning outcomes to be achieved.

Preliminary Knowledge

The basics and terminology of exercise; teaching and learning in sport; human functioning parts 1 and 2; health pedagogy; professional skills of the educator; special pedagogy during sports and health hours; the psychology and communication of contact; digital literacy.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.To systematise gymnastics/exercises with/without an object, sports and health hours shall be given in the preparer’s section.

2.Systematize standing gymnastics/exercises with/without an object in the introductory/final sections of the sports and health hour.

3.Classify climbing types and teaching methodologies as binding to the tasks of the sports and health class (teach, continue to teach, repeat, improve).

4.Classify the types of posture and teaching methodology as binding to the tasks of the sports and health class (teach, continue to teach, repeat, improve).

5.Classify breeding, tumbling, rebuke types and teaching methodology as binding to the tasks of the sports and health class (teach, continue to teach, repeat, improve).

6.Classify the types of leaps, jumps and running and the teaching methodology as binding to the tasks of the sports and health class (teach, continue to teach, repeat, improve)

7.Classify the obstacle course with exercise elements and teaching methodology as binding to the tasks of the sports and health class (teach, continue to teach, repeat, improve).

Skills

1.Develop a set of exercises/exercises with/without an object for the part of the initial school/primary school/secondary age group of the introductory part of the sports and health class.

2.Develop a set of posture-forming exercises/exercises with/without an object for the introductory part of the sports and health class for the primary school/primary school/secondary age groups.

3.Develop a prospectus and manage by incorporating basic didactic principles, abdominals, tumblers, transgressions in the main part of an hour of sport and health for a particular age group.

4.Develop a prospectus and manage by incorporating basic didactic principles, leaps, jumps and runs for a particular age group in a key part of a sports and health lesson.

5.Develop a prospectus and manage, incorporating basic didactic principles, an obstacle course with exercise elements in the main part of a sports and health lesson for a particular age group.

Competences

1.During the course of teaching the study course, the student acquires knowledge and skills to respect students with different abilities and different educational needs the need for a differentiated learning process. Able to build a student-centred, inclusive, intellectually stimulating and emotionally secure learning environment, taking into account learners’ past experience and individual learning needs.
