Knowledge
1.As a result of completing the study course, student will be able to do the following: • to name and explain acupuncture indications and contraindications, criteria for selecting patients for acupuncture therapy; • to orient oneself in the laws and regulations regulating the practical activity of an acupuncture doctor; • to be competent in issues related to patient safety, infection control and prevention.
Skills
1.As a result of completing the study course, the student will be able to evaluate acupuncture indications and contraindications in the choice of patient treatment tactics, will be able to assess the environment in terms of patient safety.
Competences
1.Ability to organise the work of an acupuncture doctor’s practice: • selection criteria for the medical contingent (patients); • knowledge of the legal and ethical work principles of an acupuncture doctor; • ability to perform and effectively manage independent work in an acupuncture doctor’s practice.
