About Study Course
Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.The student will be able to: describe imaging methods, explain the principles of operation of diagnostic devices, how to prepare a patient for an examination, formulate indications and contraindications for radiological examinations, as well as interpret the results of the examination.
Skills
1.The student will be able to: 1) independently perform ultrasonography examinations of acute trauma patients according to a certain protocol (FAST), will be able to evaluate the indications and results of the examination; 2) will know how to choose the most informative urgent examination for each pathology (RTG, CT, MR, US) and evaluate the result; 3) will be able to use the radiologist's conclusion to draw up an optimal further examination and treatment plan in an emergency situation.
Competences
1.Competence – the ability to choose and accurately formulate the necessary radiological examinations under the supervision of a certified specialist, as well as to perform an ultrasonographic examination of a trauma patient.
