About Study Course

Objective

To deepen the students' knowledge about the basic issues of pedagogy in the context of social work, to improve the acquired skills in personal growth and professional environment with clients in specific target groups – teenagers, families, etc. To promote students' readiness to engage in solving social problems with correctly selected appropriate pedagogical methods, while being aware of the potential risks for the future society.

Analysis of scientific paper according to APE model with AI support (work in 4-5 student group). 1) To find a scientific paper related to social work. 2) To develop a reasoned analysis of the Article. 3) Critically evaluate the support provided by technologies (including AI) in the analysis development process. 4) To present his or her work (5-7 min) in the study group (narrative + freely chosen presentation type, including in the analysis of the Article a) basic knowledge and personal vision of the information expressed in the Article, b) the support provided by one of the AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, NotebookLMplus, etc.) in the analysis process, C) conclusions on whether and how the selected AI tool helped/interfered with the analysis of the Article.

Submit the developed programme for the implementation of social pedagogical activities in the FINAL version (Word Doc. 7-9 pp.). 3 attachments have been added to the programme: 1) Programme evaluation questionnaire, 2) information card, 3) feedback (AS) reflection, which describes individual contributions of each group member and group cooperation in general. Work in a 3-4 student group.

The work is written in person, at the conclusion of lesson 8. These are 10 open-type questions about the theoretical material acquired in the study course.
