About Study Course

Objective

Successful fulfilment of the requirements of the course gives 3.3 credit points. To ensure acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of occupational neurology in order to evaluate the impact of work environment risk factors on the nervous system and to ensure preventive measures.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Of diagnostics of most common neurological diseases, differential diagnostics of general nervous system diseases, treatment, work expertise and prevention.

Skills

1.To identify risk factors causing nervous system disorders of occupational aetiology; to perform diagnostics of occupational nervous system diseases, to prepare documents for confirmation of an occupational disease diagnosis.

Competences

1.To resolve matters of health and safety at work to evaluate the impact of work environment risk factors on the nervous system of the employed.
