About Study Course
Objective
Applying the knowledge and skills learned during theoretical courses and practical lessons in practical work in strengthening and promoting health, improving physical fitness, interacting with visitors to fitness clubs (institutions).
Preliminary Knowledge
All courses previously taught in the study programme.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.On completion of the study course the student acquires basic knowledge and is able to: • describe the content of the classes and the training process in accordance with the set objective; • draw up training programmes and lesson plans for people of all ages and backgrounds; • evaluate the effectiveness and results of the classes; • explain and give instructions and recommendations on various physical exercises; • assess the level of physical fitness of the client; • apply necessary professional habits in communication with clients.
Skills
1.As a result of the placement completion the student will be able to: • apply appropriate training methods to clients of different ages and backgrounds; • choose appropriate physical exercises according to the goal set; • perform various physical fitness tests; • present various types of fitness classes by independently planning classes and curriculum development; • use appropriate skills in communication with clients.
Competences
1.During the study programme acquisition students will develop competencies and will be able to: develop recommendations for physical activity and an exercises plan for clients of different ages, depending on their state of health, physical fitness and goals, using the knowledge gained. Explain and argue to clients about the need for physical exercise and its role in today's society.

Prepare presentations about the place of the placement. Noting the course, benefits and minuses of the placement. Prepare a specific abridged specialisation lesson in semester 5 and present it to. Perform the independent work assignments assigned by the placement supervisor.

Assesses the student's ability to present the internship, the location of the internship and the experience gained during the internship. The prepared placement feedback documents, video files on the conduct of the spring placement. Autumn practice - assess the student's ability to conduct a specialisation lesson for 20 minutes, according to the specific nature of the lesson, using correct terminology and exercise equipment. Preparation of a specific situational assignment, stating the goal that the client wants to achieve by going to a fitness club, preparation and presentation of an exercise programme for a month and for the long term. Preparation of practice reference documents, video files on conducting practice sessions during the autumn practice.
