About Study Course

Objective

Acquire detailed theoretical and practical knowledge of the use of invasive cardiology in congenital and acquired heart diseases; master invasive cardiology methods, instruments and equipment; be able to interpret the results of cardiac catheterization and angiocardiography.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Upon completion of the study programme, the student acquires basic knowledge of invasive cardiology children with cardiac pathologies.

Skills

1.Upon completion of the study programme, the student understands the application of invasive cardiology methods in congenital and acquired heart diseases. Upon completion of the study programme, the students are able to independently assess indications for cardiac catheterisation, angiocardiography and invasive manipulations.

Competences

1.Upon completion of the study programme, the student is able to independently interpret results of cardiac catheterisation and angiocardiography in a cardiology patient, using the acquired knowledge and modern technologies.
