About Study Course

Objective

To introduce students to the types of physical activity used for rehabilitation, fitness, and sports and to provide an opportunity to take part in Nordic Walking and Bungy Pump (Swedish Walking) workout, to improve physical condition of the body and to increase aerobic capacity.

Preliminary Knowledge

Interest in physical activities for healthy life. Motivation to learn how to properly practice nordic walking.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Upon completion of the study course, students shall: • will be able to describe the rowing equipment: pole selection parameters, clothing selection, footwear selection;

2.• will be able to characterise walking levels;

3.will be able to describe the content of the walking class;

4.will be able to communicate the basics of the rowing technique;

5.you’ll be able to tell how heart control is determined in the walking lesson process.

Skills

1.After completing the study course, students will be able to: • Select appropriate rowing equipment;

2.be able to demonstrate different rowing techniques;

3.use special pole exercises in the warm-up and warm-up part;

4.use the heart rate monitor.
