About Study Course

Objective

To provide knowledge of integrated health and social services management and to develop professional's skills to management in integrated service.

Preliminary Knowledge

Biomedical aspects of human functioning, basics of social work, basics of public health, management in social work.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.As a result of completing the study course, students will be able to do the following: - to describe health care, medical rehabilitation and social services, the resources to be attracted; - to describe the competences and cooperation of professionals in the team for the provision of integrated services; - to understand the needs and problems of the recipient of integrated services; - to describe client evaluation methods for receiving integrated services; - to analyze team cooperation models in the provision of integrated services.

Skills

1.- to integrate acquired theoretical knowledge in practical lessons; - to implement an approach appropriate to the client's needs in the provision of integrated health care and social services; - to navigate the regulatory base of the field.

Independent studies of literature. Individual and group work during classes, discussing the problems of the topic of the class, case analysis – work in groups. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.

Activity and participation in classes, group work – 20%; exam – case analysis presentation: plan the integrated service provision process, attracting appropriate resources for service provision; develop a rehabilitation plan and draw up a timetable – 80%.
