About Study Course

Objective

To provide students with the opportunity to acquire knowledge useful in practice about the law of administrative violations and its separation from administrative process, criminal process. In the study course, students learn the most important problems of the application of infringement law.

Preliminary Knowledge

Administrative law, Constitutional law, Legal theory, Administrative process law.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.• understanding of the concept of administrative violations; • knowledge of administrative penalties and their application; • knowledge of administrative violation process in court.

Skills

1.• in administrative violation cases, will be able to identify the elements of the administrative violation and analyze them; • in the presentation of the wedding - will be able to distinguish significant procedural violations from non-essential ones; • will be able to independently solve legal problems related to the application of administrative penalties for weddings.

Competences

1.• analyze and critically evaluate the decisions of institutions and courts in the field of administrative penalties; • independently select and analyze judicial decisions in the field of administrative violations and make generalizations of judicial practice.

Independent preparation of written works according to the topics given in the lessons and set requirements, independent study of the indicated legal literature and practice materials. Preparation of the practice analysis according to the lecturer's instructions on the chosen question. Completing the study course evaluation questionnaire.

• successful participation in at least two seminar classes • successfully completed all written assignments (25% of the final grade) • final exam (25% of the final grade) • successfully passed written exam (50% of the final grade). The evaluation of the seminar is not counted if the student does not understand the basic questions of the relevant topic. Intermediate tests, written papers and the exam are evaluated in a 10-point system in accordance with the evaluation criteria defined in the national academic education standard.
