About Study Course

Objective

Develop competences for effective and sustainable communication with the scientific community and society in general. Promote the ability to justify, use recommendations and critique for the dynamic improvement of the research process and contribute to the practical application of all kinds of knowledge and to the building of the knowledge society.

Preliminary Knowledge

The academic master's programme or diploma of higher professional qualifications with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the sector, the ability to define, integrate and critically analyse scientific theories; The study course of the first year of study of the Doctoral programme “Scientific Writing and Scientific Communication” completed.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Acquire knowledge of the technologies and approaches that can be used to communicate effectively with the public and the scientific community.

Skills

1.Able to communicate effectively (in writing and verbally) about topical research theories in both scientific community and with society in general; Able to organise and actively participate in organisational committees, discussions, seminars, to prepare educational materials for public, improving health literacy and developing critical thinking.

Competences

1.Understand and implement effective knowledge dissemination, able to use the results of previous communications and discussions to improve competences and to do so on an ongoing basis.
