About Study Course
Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.- to evaluate advantages of different groups of diagnostic methods; - to describe criteria of selection of laboratory tests in case of different diseases; - to evaluate laboratory examination methods of blood-clotting disorders; - to characterise diagnostics and differential diagnostics of jaundice; - to evaluate clinical significance of inflammation markers; - to characterise laboratory diagnostics of renal, pulmonary, endocrinological diseases; - to know reference values of laboratory tests characterising the functional status of organs and factors that affect them.
Skills
1.- to perform biochemical, haematological and immunochemical examinations to diagnose different diseases; - to evaluate coagulation profile indicators; - to evaluate biochemical, haematological and immunochemical examination data; - to determine protein fractures using different examination methods; - to perform and evaluate microscopic examinations in case of different diseases.
Competences
1.To perform examinations of human biological material for diagnostics of different diseases. To use modern technologies and methods, diagnostic criteria and examination algorithms for diagnostics and differential diagnostics of diseases. To interpret results and to recommend further examination activity to clinicians.
