About Study Course

Objective

To ensure the acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, in accordance with the requirements of the specialty of sexologist, sexopathologist, in order to prepare the doctor for certification in the specialty of sexologist, sexopathologist, in accordance with the regulatory documents of the Republic of Lithuania.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Characteristics of normal sexuality and its diversity; epidemiology of sexual disorders, clinic, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment.

Skills

1.Assess the sexological patient: collect anamnesis, perform a physical examination, order additional examinations (instrumental, laboratory), order treatment, evaluate the results of treatment.

Competences

1.Examples include applying the acquired knowledge, skills and attitude to therapeutic work in the clinic, research activities, public educational work in the mass media.
