About Study Course
Objective
To learn the basic vocabulary and conversation skills necessary to interview a patient efficiently: body parts, most common complaints, and most common sentence structures. Simulated situations will be included in the learning process so students are ready to talk to a patient at the clinic.
Preliminary Knowledge
Having completed the mandatory Latvian course (2 or 3 semesters) but no additional Latvian courses.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Students will be able to use the basic vocabulary of medical conversation: body parts, sensations, most common symptoms.

1.Students will be able to formulate questions in simple Latvian and grasp the point of the answer about the most common medical complaints.
