About Study Course

Objective

During practice, theoretical knowledge and practical skills are improved and strengthened, patient care and related clinical procedures are integrated, in accordance with the standard of the nursing profession, the principles of professional ethics and the knowledge acquired in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th study year program in various branches - surgical nursing specialty, ambulatory nursing specialty, internal care nursing specialty.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.In the provision of general and specialized care, in accordance with the standard of the nursing profession.

Skills

1.Ability to apply and evaluate appropriate clinical procedures and other care activities - primary, secondary and tertiary care - for patients in the surgical, therapeutic and pediatric fields.

Competences

1.Ability to implement evidence-based patient care at all ages, independently to ensure the continuity of the patient care process in a multicultural environment, the ability to provide individual-centered care through therapeutic communication, the ability to provide emergency and disaster relief to individuals of all ages, the ability to provide maternal, child and family or legal education in reproductive health, ability to provide long-term care for patients with chronic diseases at all ages, ability to provide care for patients in general medicine and surgery at all ages, Ability to provide geriatric care, Ability to provide care for a dying patient. Ability to follow the principles of infection control, ability to educate patients and their families or legal representatives in the event of acute illness. Ability to educate patients and their families or legal representatives in case of chronic diseases, ability to work in an interdisciplinary team, ability to implement the care process in accordance with the basic principles of ethics, bioethics and human rights and deontology in professional activities.

Submission of the internship report - "Placement VI", evaluation of the internship supervisor and defense of the internship. Overall rating - 100% is obtained: Criteria for evaluation of practice documentation: 30% of the total evaluation and defense of practice / clinical cases 70% of the total evaluation. The criteria are published in e-studies.
