About Study Course

Objective

To acquire knowledge about the aetiology, pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, laboratory diagnosis, differential diagnosis, principles of treatment and prevention of contagious skin diseases, sexually transmitted infection, lung diseases, incl. tuberculosis, nosocomial infections.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.During the time allotted for the study course, the medical resident acquires knowledge about the aetiology, pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, laboratory diagnosis, differential diagnosis, principles of treatment and prevention of contagious skin diseases, sexually transmitted infections, lung diseases, including tuberculosis, nosocomial infections.

Skills

1.As a result of completing the study course, the medical resident will be able to determine the aetiology of contagious skin diseases, sexually transmitted infections, lung diseases, including tuberculosis, nosocomial infections, perform differential diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

Competences

1.After successful completion of the study course, the medical resident achieves the mandatory competence of a certified public health doctor, which allows to determine the aetiology of contagious skin diseases, sexually transmitted infections, lung diseases, including tuberculosis, nosocomial infections, perform differential diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
