Knowledge
1.Understand how to perform forensic medical examination and patho-anatomical autopsy.
Skills
1.Independently inspect a corpse at the scene of the incident and draw up an appropriate inspection report, know how to find important biological traces, independently perform a forensic medical and patho-anatomical autopsy of a corpse, remove the necessary samples for laboratory research, draw up a scientifically based expert opinion, know how to testify about the performed expertise at a court hearing or conduct a new or additional expertise during the court hearing.
Competences
1.Competence acquired during studies to independently perform forensic medical examinations of corpses, ability to perform procedural actions intended for a forensic medical expert in criminal proceedings, civil proceedings or administrative proceedings, acquired prior knowledge and skills for performing scientific-research and pedagogical work, ability to continue further education and introduce innovations in one's work, learned medical and the code of ethics of a forensic expert, the ability to communicate with specialists and the public, as well as to provide emergency medical assistance.

To learn autopsy technique and instrumentation.
Prepare reports (papers) for seminars.
Carry out pedagogical work with students, younger residents.
To learn literature and forensic terminology in foreign languages.
Independently prepared Power point presentations according to the seminar plan with practical demonstration and analysis of own and other samples of VTMEC archive expertise relevant to the topic of the seminar (at least 3 literature sources on each topic and 3 practice examples).

Reports on the cadaver forensic medical examinations performed in each of the 4 course cycles, case analysis, testing of practical skills, testing of theoretical knowledge, evaluating theoretical knowledge and practical activity in a 10-point system. Monthly and annual assessment of professional competence, ethical compliance and mutual communication skills. Assessment of the learning process by the head of the study program 2 times a year. In the 4th year of study, examination of practical skills and manipulation skills (practical exam) in an autopsy in the presence of a commission of experts before the final exam of the theoretical resident; testing of theoretical knowledge in the residency final exam, in accordance with the residency final exam and certification procedure in the specialty of forensic medicine expert.
