Knowledge
1.Describes the types of communication; describes the role of communication in the health care process in the clinical setting; names the aspects of professional communication in the model of communication with the patient in the clinical setting; understands clinical interview and counseling techniques; describes the conflict, its causes and solutions; understands the importance of stress in professional activities.
Skills
1.Students recognize and describe different emotions; during simulations professionally lead the conversation, collecting the anamnesis and conducting the motivational interview; apply conflict resolution skills in simulated learning situations; identify situations that increase a risk of burnout; evaluate own resources, burnout risks and skills to be improved in professional communication; conflict resolution skills are applied in simulated learning situations.
Competences
1.Ability to argue and to ground the opinion about various communication situations in clinical setting, as well as about the importance of professional communication during the implementation of the health care process. Ability to select and to apply appropriate clinical interview techniques and methods, as well as conflict resolution skills.

Actively asking and discussing questions in practice. The final assessment of the course can only be obtained if at least 50% of the classes have been attended and the others have been recovered. In the event that the student (for both exculpatory and inexcusable reasons) has not attended more than 50% of the classes, he or she shall not be admitted to the final examination and shall not be able to obtain an assessment in the course. |

Written case analysis of communication scenarios in healthcare settings. The examination evaluates students' ability to apply theoretical knowledge of professional communication by analysing real-life situations and proposing appropriate, evidence-informed communication strategies and solutions. Requirements for Successful Course CompletionTo receive a final grade for the course, students must meet all of the following requirements:
A passing final course grade can only be awarded if the student successfully passes the written examination (minimum grade: 4 – Almost satisfactory). Submission of the course evaluation/feedback through the e-learning platform at the end of the course is mandatory. Students are expected to comply with the principles of academic integrity and the University's Guidelines for the Use of Artificial Intelligence when completing all course assignments.
