About Study Course

Objective

To ensure acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the neurophysiological diagnosis of neurological diseases and syndromes in children.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Acquires knowledge about the principles of neurophysiological examinations for children, selection of examination methods, indications, contraindications, advantages and disadvantages, progress, evaluation of results.

Skills

1.Able to use theoretical knowledge and practical skills for prescribing neurophysiological examinations, interpreting results, and applying them to solving neurological problems.

Competences

1.Independently plans and organises the improvement and development of one’s professional competence. Formulates the choice of a neurophysiological examination method for the diagnosis of paediatric nervous system diseases and damage syndromes, critically analyses examination method results, integrates the knowledge of neurophysiology in the development and expansion of the competence of the paediatric neurologist specialty.
