About Study Course
Objective
To ensure acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the possibilities of surgical treatment of paediatric neurological diseases.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Acquires knowledge about the possibilities of surgical treatment of paediatric neurological diseases.
Skills
1.Able to use theoretical knowledge and practical skills to evaluate indications and contraindications of neurosurgical treatment, to evaluate expected results, understands the practical course of procedures, knows how to explain it to patients and relatives, integrates application thereof in solving neurological problems.
Competences
1.Independently plans and organises the improvement and development of one’s professional competence. Competence in neurosurgical problems is sufficient to understand their nature, diagnose them and, if necessary, provide emergency assistance, refer to a specialist, as well as implement diagnostic, treatment and preventive measures under the guidance of a specialist. Integrates neurosurgical knowledge in the development and expansion of the competence of the paediatric neurologist specialty.
