Knowledge
1.About the basic principles in the molecular biology and medical genetics; About the investigation and diagnostic methods used in molecular biology and medical genetics, application in patients with dentofacial anomalies. Prenatal diagnosis and genetic consultation. Genetic influence on the normal and abnormal development of craniofacial complex.
Skills
1.Ability to find and analyze literature about congenital anomalies in the dentofacial region, to understand their genetic background, inheritance type, possibility to treat congenital anomalies; Skill to extract DNS, to duplicate it and analyze the result.
Competences
1.To understand the genetic background of facial characteristics, malocclusions and dental anomalies. Recognize the genetic background of the congenital syndromes.
