About Study Course

Objective

Provide students with integrated interdisciplinary knowledge in the Pilates method and develop training management skills for improving movement for people of different ages by applying Pilates equipment and combining their use with small exercise equipment. Enable students to acquire functional fitness and Pilates-based motion assessment tests within the competence of the trainer and, based on their results, to acquire the skills to create individually appropriate Pilates training programmes using functional Pilates equipment. Improve students’ understanding of the use of small exercise equipment as an additional tool for Pilates equipment.

Test with choice of answers on topics included in the study course. The test shall include questions which verify the knowledge of the theory and questions on which critical thinking and evaluation of information should be applied.

Student independently collects a history, performs movement functionality tests and creates an exercise class program for his or her coursework. The history, test results and programme shall be submitted to e-studies. During the exam, the justification for the creation of the programme shall be briefly explained and three exercises specified by the teaching staff with Pilates trainers and/or small equipment shall be administered to the courtier. Answers additional questions from the teaching staff.
