About Study Course
Objective
The goal is to promote the student's ability to create a research plan, develop work goals, hypothesis and tasks, choose and apply research-appropriate data collection, processing and analysis methods, independently formulate and defend their conclusions, as well as give the opportunity to demonstrate the student's readiness to independently use the acquired knowledge and skills and competencies in solving academic or professional problems.

1.To deepen and strengthen the student’s theoretical knowledge of the chosen topic
2.Promote improvement of student practical skills through research activity
3.Promote student involvement in RSU scientific laboratories and scientific institutes
Skills
1.The skills to create a study plan, develop work objectives, hypothesis and tasks, select and apply research-relevant methods of data acquisition, processing and analysis, independently formulate and defend their conclusions.
2.To enable demonstration of the student’s willingness to use the acquired knowledge, skills and competences independently in solving academic or professional problems.
Competences
1.Develop skills to read foreign languages independently and analyse industry literature
2.Carry out studies, statistical processing of study data and analysis of results obtained
3.To draw up the final Paper according to technical, bibliographical and literary requirements

The thesis defense commission evaluates the thesis according to the following criteria: relevance of the content of the submitted final thesis to the chosen topic (on a 10-point scale); compliance of the content of the final thesis with the educational qualification level (on a 10-point scale); relevance of conclusions to work goals and tasks (on a 10-point scale); compliance of the submitted work with the main formal requirements specified in the regulations (visual design, volume, style, grammar, etc.) (on a 10-point scale); comprehensibility of the presentation, respect for structure and time limit (on a 10-point scale); ability to answer questions and participate in discussion (on a 10-point scale); the student's participation in the international scientific conference without obtaining an award-winning place, or co-authorship (for the second and subsequent authors) of a publication, if the said activity corresponds to the agreed topic, the resulting assessment is increased by 1 point. |
