Objective

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.As a result of studying the study course, students will know the basic techniques and indications of segmental massage, manual lymphatic drainage, sports massage, foot and point massage and massage with medical devices, as well as the indications and contraindications of therapeutic massage for various diseases, the student will be able to describe the possibilities of using therapeutic massage, taking into account the client's health condition, will know the necessary intensity and duration of the procedure.
Skills
1.As a result of learning the study course, students will be able to apply segmental massage, manual lymphatic drainage, massage techniques for various diseases, sports massage, foot and point massage and massage with medical devices. Equip the massage room and use the substances used in the massage, according to the chosen type of massage.
Competences
1.The student will be able to use the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge in professional activities, to evaluate massage contraindications and results for each client individually, performing massage for various ailments.

Cumulative rating. In practical lessons, knowledge test, demonstration of practical skills during each practical lesson - assessment 25%. At the end of the course, the test (exam) (taken if all the tasks set in the practical lessons have been completed) consists of 2 parts - theoretical knowledge test (e-test) - 25% assessment and demonstration of practical skills - 50% assessment.
