About Study Course
Objective
Develop a qualification paper within the study course on current topics in the field of oral health, using the latest scientific literature.
Preliminary Knowledge
Successfully completed study courses information literacy and research paper in dentistry. Prerequisites in English and epidemiology.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.- Is familiar with the ethical aspects of scientific projects and research design. - Will know the principles, indices and maps of data collection and interpretation in oral health studies. - Is able to prepare qualification papers by collecting literature and his own research. - Able to draw up work and present results. - Able to independently develop and defend qualification paper. - Demonstrate the ability to combine information literacy, research approach and professional knowledge in the field of oral health. - Collect knowledge in the preparation of qualification papers.

|
Carry out an independent study while developing a qualification paper according to the selected topic. Qualification paper shall be created in cooperation with the work supervisor. Qualification paper shall be developed in accordance with the “regulations for the writing and defence of qualification paper, student research paper”. The work is between 30 and 40 pages. |

In defence of the qualification paper, the following shall be assessed: qualification paper (the work is written according to the requirements, the conformity of the content with the chosen topic, the scope of the work, compliance with the deadlines for performance of the work, the work is verified on plagiarism, the amount of sources of literature, the study and its conformity with the topic, the work has a purpose, tasks and hypothesis, the work has been edited grammatically and literally) and the student’s skills to present the qualification paper orally in front of the Commission in a prepared presentation. Final assessment consists of the assessment of the work supervisor (30%), the assessment of the reviewer (30%) and the assessment of the presentation and presentation of the student (40%). |
