Describing the possibilities of transluminal revascularization, stent implantation, embolization, cava filter implantation. Indications, contraindications, complications. To describe possible complications in the postoperative period, their diagnosis and treatment.
Skills
1.Must understand: - examine a patient with vascular pathology (injury and illness) - correctly choose transluminal revascularization or conventional surgical methods during the treatment of patients - correctly choose the treatment method for occlusive diseases of arteries and aortas. - prescribe adequate conservative treatment for patients with pathology of arteries, veins, lymphatic vessels. - to provide first and urgent qualified aid to patients with traumatic damage to blood vessels, thrombosis and embolism. - interpret the results of applied diagnostic methods (clinical analyses, radiological, etc.) and examinations. - learn the most common surgical approaches to blood vessels; - to learn the control of arterial bleeding, techniques and final stopping of bleeding, peculiarities of using vascular clamps; - end-to-end and end-to-side anastomosis of arteries; - intravasal use of a balloon-catheter;
Competences
1.Must learn: - Detailed theoretical knowledge of the etiology, pathogenesis, symptoms, diagnosis, differential diagnosis of more common acute and chronic vascular surgical diseases. - Diagnostic methods, instruments and equipment used in vascular surgery, practical skills for diagnostic and therapeutic manipulations, as well as the practical use of therapeutic methods (surgery) for patients with vascular pathology - Indications for conservative and surgical treatment of vascular diseases. - Draw up an examination and treatment plan for patients with vascular pathology - Provide qualified emergency care to patients with acute vascular diseases and traumatic injuries.
