About Study Course
Objective
Provide up-to-date and workable business knowledge and skills, emphasizing innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. Four mandatory modules must be completed during the study course and, two of the four optional modules offered.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Understanding how to become an entrepreneur, applying creative processes and tools, and using design thinking to develop business ideas
2.Knowledge of the value building process, market analysis methods and strategy development for choosing and developing a business model
3.Knowledge of necessary start-up activities, business financing opportunities, growth validation and scaling
4.Understanding project management principles and intellectual property protection in the business process
5.Knowledge of the nature and types of corruption, international and national corruption prevention frameworks, as well as methods for identifying and preventing corruption risks
6.Understanding the role of society, media and non-governmental organisations in detecting and reducing corruption by promoting an ethical business environment
Skills
1.Skills in identifying business opportunities and applying creativity tools to brainstorming and developing ideas
2.Skills in using design thinking techniques to solve problems and research user needs
3.Skills to develop a business plan, including targets, resources and economic analysis
4.Skills to conduct market research, analyse competitors and identify the needs of target customers
5.Ability to prepare and convincingly present (pitch) business ideas to different audiences
6.Skills to analyse economic data, create budgets and assess business risks
7.Skills in organising the start-up, including resource management and project management
8.Skills to identify and address corruption risks in organisations and to understand relevant legislative requirements
Competences
1.Readyness to lead creative processes and integrate innovation into business development
2.Competence to analyse complex situations and find structured solutions using design thinking
3.Readyness to build and manage interdisciplinary teams to achieve common business goals
4.Competence to manage business finances and resources through sound decision-making
5.Competence to act in accordance with ethical principles and to comply with national and international legislative requirements in the prevention of corruption
6.Competence to select and adapt appropriate business models according to changing environment and market requirements
7.Readyness to promote public participation in corruption reduction and to maintain confidence in business processes
