About Study Course
Objective
Acquire and improve theoretical knowledge and practical skills in areas of internal medicine, where a student feels the need to obtain additional knowledge and practice, as well as improve knowledge and practical skills in sleep medicine, oncology, allergology, genetics, dermatology. Medical pedagogical skill training.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Upon completion of novelties in internal medicine course resident knows not only the symptoms, diagnostic methods and treatment of the most common internal diseases (knowledge improved in the 3rd year), but also knows the manifestations and specific investigation methods of the rare internal diseases.
Skills
1.Upon completion of novelties in internal medicine course resident has established the skills and experience in the investigation, diagnostics, differential diagnostics, treatment, primary and secondary prevention of internal diseases of various profiles and frequency. Acquired skills in teaching students and making the study materials.
Competences
1.Using the acquired knowledge and skills resident will be able to define a diagnosis, make differential diagnosis, interpret test data, develop a structured treatment and rehabilitation plan, logically define and explain the treatment objectives, assess its effectiveness, side effects.
