Knowledge
1.Students can name and explain theoretical approaches and main discussed matters in the area of cultural media and cultural journalism, as well as basic elements of analysis for the analysis of cultural journalism.
Skills
1.Students are ready: • to critically analyse products of cultural journalism in different types of media; • to provide consultations to media and public relations specialists on matters of cultural journalism; • to create critical articles and/or shows in the field of cultural journalism.
Competences
1.Students are able to use their knowledge in the field of cultural media and cultural journalism to be able to develop independent, sustainable cultural journalism projects and to identify problems related to the agenda, journalistic quality, audience and media specifics of cultural journalism.

To read scientific articles on modern culture, cultural journalism and media communication. To get acquainted (with 5 – 7 content units) before each guest lecture with the aims and ideas, structure and content of each lecturer's represented media.
To prepare the following questions:
• What are the professional problems of journalists in the particular media?
• How to create original content in cultural journalism?
• How to create new formats?
• What are the main ethical problems of cultural journalism?
• What is the influence of public relations and cultural manegement industry on the media?
• What knowledge is required for a cultural journalist?
• What professional skills are required for a cultural journalist?
• What indicates qualitative cultural journalism?
In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
