1.Principles of patient preparation for kidney replacement therapy, indications, principles of patient management during renal replacement therapy, preparation for kidney transplantation.

1.Determination of indications for renal replacement therapy and timely provision of vascular access and/or peritoneal dialysis catheter, selection of patients for kidney transplantation.
Competences
1.Diagnosis of kidney failure, initiation of renal replacement therapy, patient preparation and inclusion on the waiting list for kidney transplantation.

Diagnosis and management of chronic renal failure. Preparation of patients for hemo- and peritoneal dialysis. Creation of vascular access for hemodialysis, introduction of peritoneal dialysis catheters. Initiation of hemodialysis therapy. Acute renal failure. Acute water-electrolyte balance disorders. Renal puncture biopsy.
