About Study Course

Objective

To create students' understanding of management processes and the principles of project development as a management tool.

Preliminary Knowledge

Successfully mastered the study courses realized in the previous semesters.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.During the study course, students have acquired an integrated set of knowledge, skills and competencies in management and project development. KNOWLEDGE: - Able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and critical understanding of management theories, their evolutionary development; - Demonstrates originality and a scientific approach in solving management problems; - Able to integrate the insights of various management theories, to contribute to the creation of new knowledge in research and the use of research methods; - Acquires theoretical knowledge and understanding of project management processes in organizations.

Skills

1.SKILLS: - Can critically assess the current situation in terms of the theory and practice of management of organizations and institutions; - Can offer new solutions in terms of the latest trends in the management and development of organizations and institutions, emphasizing the issues of ensuring the quality of the organization's and institution's operations, as well as innovative approaches to be implemented in the institution; - Able to determine and analyze the main factors of the external and internal environmental impact of the project.

Competences

1.COMPETENCES: - Demonstrates a personal attitude to local and global issues regarding the development opportunities and diversity of organizations and institutions, demonstrates responsible behavior in solving these issues; - Able to reasonedly explain and discuss complex aspects of management theory with both specialists and non-specialists; - Able to demonstrate an understanding and ethical position of possible effects of professional activities on the development of the organization and society as a whole; - Can develop a quality project and manage its effective implementation.

Participation in all course activities. To create a list of topical issues to be studied as part of the study course, an in-depth analysis of one issue and to be evaluated. Oral presentation of the prepared question in a group of graduate students. Developing, presenting, discussions, argumentation of your project application.

Requirements for completing the study course: active participation in classes - 50%; execution of independent practical works, their interpretation and evaluation - 20%; participation in discussions and analysis of topics prepared by other students - 10%; developed and defended project work - 20%.
