About Study Course

Objective

Ensure the acquisition and development of theoretical knowledge and practical skills regarding injections of biomaterials and botulinum toxin in accordance with the requirements of the specialty of the aesthetic medical physician in order to prepare the physician for certification in accordance with the regulatory documents of the LR.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.A medical resident has mastered the body’s ageing processes and morphological types during the study process. Learned theoretical knowledge of the chemical properties, mechanisms of action, indications of biomaterials and botulinum toxins, contraindications and input techniques, as well as possible complications and prevention.

Skills

1.Medical resident is able to apply theoretical knowledge in practice by performing upper, middle and lower face thirds assay and apply the appropriate aesthetically optimal therapy tactics for each area. Acquired skills to perform biomaterials, platelet-rich fibrin or plasma injections and botulinum toxin injections according to morphological ageing for type and locale. Apply specific therapeutic solutions for botulinum toxin or fillers and choose the most appropriate products according to skin ageing type

Competences

1.The medical resident is able to use the acquired knowledge, skills and personal abilities in work and training situations, as also in professional and personal development, as well as being able to take responsibility and carry out certain types of tasks independently for biomaterials and botulinum toxin injections.
