About Study Course
Objective
To promote the acquisition of basic knowledge in general and special pharmacology.
Preliminary Knowledge
Anatomy, physiology, symptoms of certain diseases.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.As a result of completing the study course, students obtain basic theoretical knowledge in pharmacology.
Skills
1.Upon completion of the study course, students will be able to evaluate the role of drug therapy in the organisation of health care, will know the most commonly used groups of drugs, their effects and side effects.
Competences
1.As a result of completing the study course, students will be able to: • generalise the risks and benefits of the relevant drug treatment; • interpret professional information on drugs.

Individual work – learning about the general and special pharmacology, as well as selection and analysis of information on medicines, their application and use in the treatment process.
